2007 Fort Lewis College

Named All Conference at Safety, honorable mention for kick-returner. Started at free safety and played some defensive back collecting 67 tackles, two interceptions with 112 return yards, two fumble recoveries, one returned for 41 yard touchdown, four pass breakups, and two forced fumbles. Had 15 kick off returns for 466 yards, 31.1 yard average.

2006 Fort Lewis College

Helped team win the Rotary Bowl championship. Started the entire season at defensive back collecting 38 tackles, two tackles for loss, six pass breakups, one interception, one fumble recovery returned 90 yards and a touchdown.

High School Career

Played RB/CB/KR. During two seasons starting at defensive back on varsity, helped team to a 24-1 record, and back to back CIF section titles in 2000-01. 2001 was apart of the Helix High School state championship team. Sam was named to all east county at defensive back. Noticeable High School teammates in the NFL, Alex Smith 49ers, Todd Watkins Raiders, and Reggie Bush Saints.
