2008 Foothill Cougars
Marcial Lawson was utilized on offense, defense and special teams. Lining up in the backfield Lawson had 85 carries for 836 yards, with an impressive average per carry of 9.84 and 11 touchdowns. In the receiving category he had nine receptions for 69 yards, averaging 7.67 per catch and one touchdown. On the defensive side of the ball Lawson was tied for the league leader with six interceptions for 153 yards and six pass knock downs and had 21 total tackles. As the premier kick returner in the area he amassed 18 kickoff returns for 570 yards, averaging 31.67 yards per return. Marcial scored 102 points (17 touchdowns) for the Cougars that placed him third in the league for total points scored.
