A big-play defender for the Comets for two seasons, he also has an interception, a tackle for a safety, three tackles for losses, a forced fumble and three broken-up passes. ... Doubled as a long-snapper. ... Had seven tackles (three solo) in season-opening 21-19 win over Southwestern on Sept. 6. ... Contributed 10 tackles (seven solo) in a 16-0 victory vs. Victor Valley on Sept. 13. ... High School

Was an All-Avocado League selection under coach Danny Williams as a senior at Vista High was selected to play in the Alex Spanos All-Star Classic.... Started both ways for the Panthers, starting both on defense and at quarterback from his sophomore season on.
