2007 Toronto Argonauts

Carter intercepted three passes in 2007, including one for an 82-yard touchdown. He also contributed 35 tackles, five special teams tackles, two forced fumbles and one sack.

2006 Nashville Kats/Toronto Argonauts

Spent the off-season in the AFL, rejoining the Nashville Katz on December 12…Named AFL Defensive Player of the Week on February 28 after posting 11 tackles and two knockdowns in a Katz victory…Named Defensive Player of the Week in Conference Championship vs Dallas for recording 2 INT, one for a TD…Traded to the Orlando Predators (AFL) for CB Jermaine Mays on March 15…Played in Arena Bowl game…Week 2, added to the Argonauts Developmental Roster…Week 3, remained on DR…Week 4, made 2006 debut as backup DB and rotated in at LB and on special teams…Week 5, started at DB in place of Clifford Ivory and had a great game, recording three tackles…Week 6, started at DB vs B.C. in place of Kenny Wheaton…Week 7, started at CB and recorded his first-ever CFL interception (03/08/06) and returned it 84-yards for a TD…Week 8, started at DB in win over Hamilton and recorded a team-leading 6 DT to accompany his second interception in as many games…Week 9, started at DB and continued his stellar play, recording two interceptions in win over Montreal…Week 10, started at DB in win over Winnipeg…Week 11, dressed as backup DB and rotated in at both DB and CB, recording a teamleading seven total tackles and intercepting one pass which he returned 44 yards…Week 12, dressed as backup DB and rotated in with Clifford Ivory in win over Hamilton…Week 13, started at CB in place of Byron Parker in Calgary…Week 14, on active roster but did not dress vs Calgary…Week 15, on active roster but did not dress vs Edmonton…Week 16, dressed as backup DB, played ST and rotated in vs Edmonton…Week 17, dressed as backup DB and rotated in vs Saskatchewan…Week 18, on active roster but did not dress vs Montreal.

Signed with the Nashville Katz (AFL)…recorded 70 tackles, 7 INT (second most in the AFL) and one forced fumble with Nashville…Named Second-Team All-Arena as a Saftey…Signed with Toronto on October 5...Week 14, placed on injured list until Week 18 with ankle injury…Week 18, dressed and started in place of DB Kenny Wheaton in Argos debut (05/11/05) and recorded 3 DT at Ottawa. Almost intercepted a QB Kerry Joseph pass in the endzone but it was ruled out of bounds…2005 Playoffs Assigned to practice roster for East Championship versus Montreal.

Attended the University of Arkansas from 1994-1997...began university career as a QB with the Arkansas Razorbacks before making the transition to wide receiver...1998 Played final year of college at Southern Arkansas where he recorded six tackles and had three punt returns for 32 yards.
