2007: Leonard passed for 200 or more yards in eight games, and was held to under 100 yards passing just once… ended the season with 2,360 yards and 15 touchdowns… tossed a TD pass in every game except against Muhlenberg... posted a 49% completion percentage… recorded two rushing touchdowns… his season high of 316 yards passing came against Ursinus College in Juniata’s debut, just the second 300+ yard effort of his career... connected on a season-high three touchdowns against both Ursinus and Gallaudet...rushed for a career-high 53 yards versus Gallaudet.
Leonard played well during his sophomore season, finishing with 1,651 passing yards and 10 touchdowns… had a 44% completion percentage… tallied a season high 293 yards against FDU-Florham, one of four 200+ yard passing performances during his sophomore season… also had a career high four touchdown passes versus FDU-Florham.
As a freshman Leonard played in all 10 games as the Eagles’ quarterback… had more than 150 total passing yards in six of those games… passed for 1,658 total yards and 13 touchdowns… finished the season with a 43% completion percentage… had his first 200 passing yard game against King’s College… finished the season with three 200+ yard passing efforts, including a career high 456 passing yards at FDU-Florham.
Was a performer on both the football field and basketball court at Big Spring High School… First team Colonial Division quaterback as a senior… Athlete of the Year during his senior and junior years… also played in the East-West Army All-Star Game during his senior campaign… as a team captain, led his team to the 2003 Colonial Division Championship
