To say that Marcus and Terrell Davis are standout players is an understatement. The brothers from Victoria, British Columbia are among the top high school football players in all of Canada. Terrell - the older of the two - currently plays for the Mount Douglas Rams, where he excels as a playmaker on both sides of the ball, lining up as a running back, wide receiver, linebacker and defensive end. The younger Davis brother - Marcus - is just as impressive as Terrell. Marcus also excels on the field for the Mount Douglas Rams as a running back, wide receiver and cornerback.

The Davis brothers are talented without a doubt; their playmaking skills earned them a trip to San Antonio, Texas last January, where Marcus played in the U-15 Canadian All Stars vs. USA All-Stars Game. His stellar performance earned him offensive MVP honors. He finished with 316 all-purpose yards and two touchdowns, including 112 receiving yards, seven rushing yards, 141 yards on kickoff returns and a 56-yard punt return, earning him offensive MVP honors.

“Marcus was by far the best U-15 in North America at last year’s contest. He has similar speed to USA playground legend Sony Michel - Marcus has major Division I talent,” said Erik Richards Eastbay Youth Bowl Director. “The neat thing about the Davis brothers is their work ethic during the off season. They are always present at least one (Football University) camp a year and TOP GUN,” added Richards.

Meanwhile, Terrell was one of six Canadians who were selected to perform at the U.S. Army National Combine, which features America’s top 500 juniors; an exception was made for the six Canadian athletes. The U.S. Army National Combine allows juniors to see how they matchup against the North America’s best and continue to develop and improve their game.

“San Antonio was amazing; I got to compete with the very best athletes from North America. It was a once in a life time experience,” said Terrell.

Although the brothers are as talented as they come, they realized that raw talent alone wasn’t going to cut it if they wanted to improve their game. That is why they signed up for Football University (FBU). “I knew FBU could help me get to the next level and I could compare myself to other kids my age,” said Marcus.

Terrell also had his own opinion about the camps, “The FBU experience was great. Not only did I play against other great athletes from around British Columbia, but I also got exceptional coaching from the FBU staff,” added the older brother.

The FBU camps have played a great part of how the standout brothers improved their skills. “FBU helped me improve myself by getting in and out of my breaks a lot faster and smoother,” said Marcus.

Terrell has seen some improvement in his game as well and has verbally committed to play at Washington State University next season. “The strongest part of my game is how I finish runs and FBU really helped me by making sure I completed every drill 100 percent,” added the future Washington State Cougar.

The Davis brothers recently returned to FBU at this past March’s Vancouver camp and were exuberant with the training provided at the camp. “The experience was great. The coaches were unbelievable, the best of the best. They taught me so much… techniques I had no idea about before. The experience of the coaches was so good,” declared Marcus.

FBU camps allow football athletes in North America to polish their raw skills and improve their game with specialized-position training modeled after NFL minicamps. Each camp includes 18 hours of intensive training and development under the tutelage of current and former NFL players and coaches—both on and off the field—including film study, classroom testing, and access to hi-tech equipment.
